CONCLUSION

Marijuana has a variety of street names such as "grass", "Mary Jane", "pot", "smoke", "reefer", "herb", and "weed".  Marijuana has been hailed as a prescription for many ills and physicians once used it to stimulate appetite, relieve chronic pain, and treat asthma and migraines. But is marijuana really a medical miracle? If so, do its clinical benefits outweigh its drawbacks? Should we legalize marijuana? Is medical marijuana really worth the risks? These are the issues one needs to think about before making the decision to legalize marijuana.

Even though Marijuana is illegal to our country, Malaysia but it actually has own benefits which is people are not being exposed about Marijuana. One of the benefit of Marijuana is it can cure cancer. As we know, cancer does not have medicine in order for the patient to get well. However, there are many people who do not want the legalization of marijuana. They point to the drawbacks that marijuana has. There are the concerns that legalization can make marijuana more available for abuse, especially by children.

To conclude, Marijuana actually have pro and cons and its depends for those who are take it in their daily life whether they are being addicted or not. Since Marijuana also includes in edibles so people can mix it in foods rather than smoke weed.

Facts of Marijuana

Fact 1: Most Marijuana Users Never Use Any Other Illicit Drug.

Most marijuana users never use any other illegal drug and the vast majority of those who do try another drug never become addicted or go on to have associated problems. Indeed, for the large majority of people, marijuana is a terminus rather than a so-called gateway drug. New evidence suggests that marijuana can function as an “exit drug” helping people reduce or eliminate their use of more harmful drugs by easing withdrawal symptoms.

Fact 2: The Majority of Adults Who Use Marijuana Do Not Have Adverse Mental Health Issues

Many opponents of medical marijuana make much of the purported link between marijuana use and mental illness. But there is simply no compelling evidence to support the claim that marijuana is a causal risk factor for developing a psychiatric disorder in otherwise healthy individuals. Emerging evidence indicates that patients who have tried marijuana may show significant improvements in symptoms and clinical outcomes (such as lower mortality rates and better cognitive functioning ) compared with those who have not.

Fact 3: Marijuana’s Effects On Driving Are Subtle But Real

At some doses, marijuana affects perception and psychomotor performance – changes that could impair driving ability. However, in actual driving studies, marijuana produces little or no car-handling impairment – consistently less than produced by moderate doses of alcohol and many legal medications. In contrast to alcohol, which tends to increase risky driving practices, marijuana tends to make subjects more cautious

Marijuana in Cancer

TREATING BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer is a major and growing health issue among women. Invasive breast cancer is the most common type cancer affecting women worldwide, and the second-most-common type overall. According to doctors and patients, breast cancer tumors can be affectively treated with cannabis oil. However, the tumor will actually grow if too much THC is used. Research has shown that, through cannabis, breast cancer can be effectively treated with it.

LEUKAEMIA

Many cancer patients have turned to Marijuana for relief from cancer-related pain and nausea associated with chemotherapy treatments. Marijuana's widespread medical applications have been attributed to the body's natural cannabinoid system. As it turns out, cannabinoid receptors have been found in most parts of the body, including white blood cells. This has led reseacher to investigate the role of Marijuana in treating leukemia, already revealing promising findings.

LUNG CANCER
THC has been found to reduce tumor growth in common lung cancer by 50 percent and to significantly reduce the ability of the cancer to spread. The researchers suggest that THC might be used in targeted fashion to treat lung cancer.

There are few things more frightening in life than receiving a cancer diagnosis. Fortunately for cancer patients, medical marijuana may be an effective cancer treatment and an alternative to many drugs currently used to treat cancers including breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, brain cancer, leukemia, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and more. Medical marijuana can also help to alleviate symptoms associated with traditional cancer treatment, including nausea and vomiting.

Ways to consume Marijuana

When it comes to consuming Marijuana, there are a number of different options. Through Marijuana, it can be eaten or vaporized, many still rely on smoking as a method of ingestion. There are several ways to consume weed such as joints, blunts, bong, pipes, vaporized and edibles.

There are so many ways to consume marijuana, that it is rarely the same from one person to the next. The best way to figure out what is best for yourself is to determine what your goal is. The most common way that people consume the first time (or first time back) seems to be the joint. The joint is highly versatile (you can smoke it anywhere that smell is not a factor) and it certainly gets you high. Plus you have to re-up on papers from time to time, which is not as awesome as having a piece that is re-usable.

The pipe is a logical next step to this discussion, since it is probably the second most common form of consumption. A pipe is easy to carry around, cheap if you know the right places to purchase one, and are good for the ‘pass-around group’ settings. Studies suggest that water filtration can be an effective way of reducing exposure to the cancer-causing compounds in smoke. Water also helps to cool the smoke, making it easier to inhale without irritating the airways.

A blunt could have followed the joint, since it’s basically a joint in a cigar wrap. A blunt burns longer than a joint, you can roll enormous blunts that can hold several grams, and flavored blunt wraps are fantastic.

A vaporizer is a device designed to extract desired elements from herbs, such as marijuana or tobacco by heating them to a point where these elements are released as vapor particles, to be eventually consumed by the user. The result: vaporizers are a safe, healthy and effective way of using these plants. It eliminates by over 20%, dangerous elements such as tar, giving the user a flexible and refreshing experience.

The last method of consumption is through edibles.Edibles are food products infused with marijuana. Though smoking marijuana is the most prevalent method of consumption, eating marijuana is quickly becoming a popular way to consume the drug.Brownies are among the most common food products infused with marijuana, however, almost any food product may be infused with marijuana and eaten.

There are so many ways to consume marijuana, that it is rarely the same from one person to the next. The best way to figure out what is best for yourself is to determine what your goal is.

MARIJUANA

Assalamualaikum and a very good evening to everyone. I would like to share about Marijuana which is most commonly used illegal in the world. Anyway before I explain further about the Marijuana did anyone knows what is Marijuana?

Marijuana have a lot of street names such as astro turf, bhang, dagga, dope, ganja, home grown, J, Mary Jane, reefer, roach, Texas tea and weed. In Malaysia Marijuana is known as "Ganja" which is illegal in the country even though smoking is more dangerous compared to Marijuana. Marijuana actually is cannabis that derived from the cannabis plant (cannabis sativa). It grows wild in many of the tropical and temperate areas of the world.

The main active ingredient in cannabis is called delta-9 tetrahydro-cannabinol, commonly known as THC. This is the part of the plant that gives the "high." There is a wide range of THC potency between cannabis products. Marijuana is made from dried flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant. It is the least potent of all the cannabis products and is usually smoked or made into edible products like cookies or brownies .It is dried and pressed into small blocks and smoked. It can also be added to food and eaten. Hash oil, the most potent cannabis product, is a thick oil obtained from hashish. It is also smoked.

Cannabis is usually smoked in hand-rolled cigarettes (known as "joints") or in special waterpipes ("bongs"). These pipes or bongs can be bought or made from things such as orange juice containers, soft drink cans or even toilet rolls.
